Model T / A Outlaw Racer Paint 2

Some more paint, still to finish:

  1. That looks fantastic. A lot of fun too I imagine - like reinventing a cars history.
Great post on the Darracq - I agree we're jolly lucky to have people like Mark about who are crazy enough to want to rebuild these monsters and then drive them to the events. (Thanks very much for the link as well)

  2. Thank you for the comment.
It really is fun. I have been following John Gerber's autobiography description of how he built and modified a very similar car, this has been my main inspiration.
Thank you for looking in, BTW, I am really enjoying trying to watercolour/sketch in the method that you use. I really love that understated but rich technique. Trouble is I now feel that I am pinching your ideas lock, stock and barrel and not being very original. I'm really enjoying it tho :) Thank you.

  3. I wouldn't worry about that. I've pinched stuff all over the place. Some things you keep, some things get mixed with other things and turn into something else and eventually you end up with you own thing. I could have been a writer you know.

  4. :) h ha thank you for your understanding.
    Very best wishes.
