Delage DISS

After a very long time, hopefully this is the beginning of more regular updates:
Having spent a lot of time sorting through parts of clutch thrust units here are some pictures of modifications to allow the use of modern 6009 deep groove ball race bearing. Axial load taken by the thrust are safely within the ability of this robust bearing.
This thrust assembly has to be able to accept continuous running as opposed to the intermittent use of modern thrusts.
Modification included the sleeving of the housing and the manufacture of a new central retaining collar nut..... an awkward M44 x 1.5mm thread.
