Heroic
Always on the look out for any new entries for this 200hp Darracq, I recently came across this You Tube posting.
I suppose at 51 it would seem to be a bit childish to admire and see people as a bit of a "Hero" figure but I'm going to say it, along with Neil Armstrong, Shackleton and many other childhood heros, Mark Walker is a name that would come to mind for me, not just because of the fantastic way he wrestles this monster but because we also owe him for bringing epic Edwardian motor racing to life, in spirit, engineering skill and in the way the personality of his cars seep through their patinated presence.
Look for Stefan Marjoram here or in Google for the most appropriate way of capturing the essence of these cars.
